Core Beliefs

 

There is only one God, who is the designer of our universe and who wants a relationship with us.

The Bible is where we read God’s message to us and the Holy Spirit is God’s power.

Jesus is the Son of God. He was born 2000 years ago and as a human being he showed us just how loving God is, fulfilling God’s plan.

​

Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sin (which is part of our human nature). God allowed this to happen to his Son to show that there’s nothing God wouldn’t do to bring us to him.

​

Jesus came back to life and he will raise his followers from the dead when he returns to establish God’s righteous rule in his kingdom here on earth.

Jesus invites us to become a new creation by being baptised and following him.
